Referral Program

How it works

We strive to do great things for great businesses; then, when we win, we want to share that with our partners. When you refer a business to IMS (that we end up partnering with), you also earn credit against your service costs.

You refer a new business (aka ‘prospect’) to IMS – via your technical account manager, account executive, or email us.

^

We chat with the ‘prospect’ and determine if we’re capable of serving as partners.

^

You pick a reward: one-time $500 service credit or add a 2% discount to your monthly Microsoft 365 license bill.

Some nitty gritty details

^

The prospect has to be completely new to IMS, having not engaged in any services or in any marketing or sales activities.

^

For each converted referral, you can pick one (1) reward: a $500 one-time credit or add a 2% discount to your Microsoft 365 licensing through IMS.

^

The discount for Microsoft 365 licenses only applies if your are getting all of your Microsoft licenses via IMS (not valid through any other provider and not transferrable).

^

The total monthly Microsoft discount (from all referred customers) cannot exceed 20% (a total of 10 converted referrals). After you achieve a 20% discount, you can still earn the $500 one-time service credit.

Please understand that not all referrals will convert to good partners and customers of IMS. We seek partners that recognize technology is an asset to their organization and who wish to grow by leveraging the right technology, services, and people.

There are a few exclusions from this rewards system:

New customers must engage IMS in a combination of service areas; Office/Microsoft 365 only services do not qualify as service as this is a license resale only. For example, a new customer that only purchases resale Microsoft 365 licenses is excluded from reward, but a new customer that gets the 365 licenses, backup, and spam protection would qualify for the reward.

Credits are only provided to net-new customers; a former customer that returns does not qualify for providing credits or discounts.

^

Approved commercial partners who are also customers may only earn one type of credit or reward per referral: commercial credit, one-time service credit, or 2% discount.
